Each book is hand-selected to ensure that the material is appropriate and inspiring. We include an assortment of books across reading levels. Many of the books selected for each basket celebrate Black girls by presenting a holistic view of our beauty and intelligence. Readers enjoy the stories while in the salon and return them to the basket when ready to leave.
