What is a vision board?
A vision board, or a dream board, is a visual representation of everything you want out of your life. Images, keywords, quotes—anything that captures the feel of what you want to be, what you want to do, what you want to have.

Why you need a vision board?
The idea is to use this board to help you clarify your goals for your life, and keep them in front of you each and every day so you can remember your ‘why’ and what you’re working towards, especially when you’re struggling through the day-to-day realities.

It can also help you make key decisions when it comes to your business or your personal life. If you’re unsure of what you should be doing, take a look at your vision board to help you determine which choice will get you closer to your dreams.

It’s also a stylish addition to any home or office, and a great talking point with your friends and family—because talking about your dreams with others is another step towards making them a reality.

Ideas to include on a vision board

1. YOUR DREAM DAY.
What does your dream day look like? What would you be doing? Where would you be? Who would you be with?

2. YOUR IDEAL LIFESTYLE.
What kind of life would you like to live? Where, and what kind of residence? What would your perfect house or office look like? Would you like to travel, and where to?

3. WHAT YOU WANT FROM YOUR BUSINESS OR CAREER.
What’s your ideal role? What’s a business idea you want to turn into reality? What are the focus words that summarise what you want?

4. WHO YOU WANT TO BE.
What kind of person do you want to be? What kind of traits would you like to have? What kind of work would you like to be doing? How do you want to make others feel? What quotes or keywords embody all you are or want to be?
